Ian has always been a high active boy -basically a boy! To get out some of that energy we decided to enroll him in a parent-tot gymnastics program at Altius. It was Wednesday afternoon so Tim would take him to gymnastics class and occasionally if I was ahead in work I would go and watch Ian on my lunch.
He absolutely loves it and could easily spend all day there. Not to mention they do an amazing job running the class, he loves his teacher. Every week they learn a new move. Ian thrives on this he loves to come home and show me what he has learned that day and then review all of his other terms. Not to mention show off all of his moves like front and back somersaults, handstands, pikes, tucks, kart wheels, table top, lunge, back bend, rock and rolls, and many many more.
Ian had the opportunity to be in his first parade with his gymnastics group at the Smithfield Health days parade. He had a good time for the first 5-10 minutes. Then once he passed by were Aaron and I were he decided enough was enough and want to wave and get candy.
We can't wait for gymnastics again. Every morning he wakes up wondering if he gets to go to gymnastics everyday. I think we all have a blast going!
