This is Ellie and Erin. Ian absolutely adores them and we do too! He has been lucky enough to be a part of their family during the weekdays since he was just about 6 months old. He loves them and is always so excited to be with them. When I pick him up after work he screams or says "no" because he does not want to come home, he wants to stay and play. Don't worry once we are home he is fine but if anyone knocks on the door Ian runs while shouting Ellie.
Ian always knows when we are coming close or driving by their house. When we pull up to their door in the morning the first thing Ian says is "Eeeiii" while giggling. I drop him off and he runs without turning back. This week they leave to visit Brian (who we also adore) in California. They will be missed more than they know.

We have been so blessed to have them be a part of our lives. They take such good care of Ian and love him as if he were their own. We can't wait for everyone to come back home -are we allowed to visit them while they are visiting someone else? Did you follow -if not just nod your head and agree :) We'll miss you!!!

SUCH a sweet post. The Thompsons are an amazing, great family. I am jealous Ian has such a great place to go everyday. Hope your week isn't too long without them around.
Ohhh...your making me get all teary eyed. Ian is such a fun little guy. I have grown to enjoy him more and more the longer I have watched him and seen his personality develop. I just love him to pieces and I really do hope that someday we get a sweet little boy just like him. We will miss you guys too! You have saved me from many lonely nights of eating dinner by myself (well Ellie would be here but she doesn't really count when it comes to eating dinner since she isn't much of a fan). Hey, Brian's room has a hide-a-bed in the front area which you guys are more than welcome to come and stay in if you feel like wandering out to CA sometime in the next few weeks :)
