Ian has always been very independent. He loves doing what other people are doing and does not like help. The other day we were eating and he has always been pretty good at using his fork and spoon but he decided to use both of them at the same time. Fork in the left and spoon in the right. He thought he was hilarious!

We went to the park yesterday with the Thompson's. Ian adores Ellie and loves trying to copy everything she does. She thought it would be fun to go down the middle of the slide.
It did not work out so well for Ian -he was stuck -but thought it was funny anyway.

Ian is all of the sudden very into watching his "show." I don't even know where this came from. We hardly ever watch TV infact we keep debating whether or no to cancel Dish because we don't watch it anymore. All Ian wants to do is watch his "show" as long as it is Imagination Movers or Baby Einstein. I'll admit I have taken advantage of it in the morning when he wakes up early and I am in a rush to get ready. Which was a horrible idea because now the moment we head downstairs to play the first thing out of his mouth is "show" and he runs to get Baby Einstein: Baby McDonald. Then he cries because I say no and eventually we just go upstairs and play. It is driving me crazy -I am hoping it is a phase.
- Ian is now going to nursery and loving it. He turn 18 months November 29th and he loves his leaders and is always excited to go. In sacrament meeting I will remind he that he gets to go to nursery and he says "ya, ursee (nursery). " Hopefully it lasts because we are loving it too! Now I only have one child to take care of during the rest of the meetings -Tim.
- Ian went to the bathroom in the toilet three times this last week. He runs over to me and says, "oopy." I ask him if he needs to sit on the potty and he says either "ya" or "no." He almost always toots in the toilet and then says "done." It is hilarious -he loves sitting on the toilet. Sometimes it is a little annoying because he tends to want to go a lot. Plus he grunts when he tries to go. But that just makes me laugh.
- Tim took his test last week to get into the Weber State LPN to RN program and did amazing. He scored in the 99th percentile and was the top of his class. That afternoon he took two more tests for school and scored in the 90's on both of them. Hurray! Now Weber just has to accept him into the program -I think we find out in December.

Hurray for Tim!! I am also amazed that Ian already even thinks about the potty and I am SO glad he loves nursery! I am glad things are going well, thanks for chatting with me!
Congrats, Tim! And if you get Ian potty trained, then come over here and work on Olivia! She was doing so good at first, and now she throws a fit when I sit her on it!
