Foster Family Reunion

On June 30th we had big Foster Family reunion in good ole Preston, Idaho!

I headed up to Logan the night before with the boys (Tim had to work). We of course had to go for a stroll along the Logan River trail. Grandpa and Ian were being a little crazy :)

Aaron as happy as can be!

The next morning we headed up to Preston early to help my grandparents with a few things before everyone arrived. Aaron stayed back with the rest of the boys so that he could get in a good nap before the chaos began :) It was so great to see my Aunt's, Uncles, and cousins. Many who I have not seen for years. Aaron was loving all of the attention - he constantly had girls by his side.

After lunch we pulled out the pool, slip n'slide, and squirt guns.

Andrew got amazing pictures of the kids playing!

By late afternoon all the kids were exhausted.

Ian loved relaxing with Aunt Lisa. He also happened to find grandpa's stash of gum and made sure to finish it off! He looks exhausted.

Of course when you are exhausted, sweaty, and feel disgusting it means it is time for some family pictures! Grandma and Grandpa Foster with some of the grandkids.

Grandkids. Apparently Tate wanted to be certain that Josie was smiling :)

Grandpa Foster, Uncle Shane, my Mom, Uncle Todd (aka my mom's dad and her brothers).

 With the spouses

We had so much fun! We ended up heading to Cafe Rio late that night for dinner (although I stopped and got the kids and I subway -they do not like Cafe Rio). I was still planning on heading home that night since I had to be to church in the morning. I forgot about the nighttime closures on the highway -lame construction :(  What would normally take me just over an hour and a half to get home ended up taking well over three hours. I'd like to say that the kids slept the whole way but that would be a lie. It is hard to sleep with construction workers taking a jack hammer to the concrete right next to your stopped car. So besides the drive home we had a blast! Let's hope that it does not take us over two years to get together again!
