Ian turned 6 weeks on Thursday and to celebrate we all went boating at Hyrum on Friday. Although I think the celebration was more for us in just getting out. While it was a close call considering we were up the night before until 2am trying to console our screaming child, he was up early and ready to eat at 7:30. However we did make it to the lake, drowsy and all.

During lunch- Ian sleeping as usual. We had barbque hotdogs on the boat...they tasted amazing. It had been 10 months -probably longer since I had last had a hotdog. The only time I have them is when we grill them on the boat.
Ian doing what he did best that day- sleeping on the boat. He is in the cuddy on the bed so he is out of the sun. Clearly he loved the rocking of the boat since the only thing he did was eat and sleep. Although there were a few messy diapers along the way.

Tim realizing that he was moving away from the boat quickly. He didn't want to have to try and swim back so we just left he there floating while we all went cruising around. Just Kidding. we are not that irresponsible we threw him a rope eventually :)

I love this picture! It is just funny ...our family tends to debate quite often and somehow all of us think we are right all the time. Although I am right all of the time! You can just see Ian saying "Actually, I believe I am right" you get the picture.
After a long day of boating we heading home to finish doing laundry and other chores around the house. Although all of these things still need to be done now and I can thinking of many other things I should be doing -meaning that I should not be updating the blog at this time. You can determine yourselves which sounds more fun blogging or laundry? Not hard to see why I made a new post, is it?

I guess Babies R US needs to think of some kind of bouncer that feels and sounds like a boat, so you're not up so late. Sorry it's not getting better in that way. I always hear that 6 weeks is when things starting turning around. For us and Thomas is was more like 3 months, but I'll be crossing my fingers for yoU!
