Ian's Blessing

Today we blessed Ian. While normally I may not blog so quickly we just had such an enjoyable day I could hardly wait. We woke up bright and early this morning to be sure that we could easily be ready for church at 9 am...and we were ready with time to spare. Tim and I were a little nervous because Ian had not had his normal monstrous bowel movement so we held off in changing him in his white suit until the last possible moment.

The blessing was great! Tim did an amazing job and Ian was wide eye and awake just looking at everyone -he loves to observe everything. Notice that most of the pictures Ian is yawning because he would rather stay awake and look at everything going on than take his naps.

"Are we ever going to be done taking pictures?" What a trooper -he was such a good boy all day long and it was quite the eventful day.

My grandparents, aunt, uncle, and my cousin and her family were able to come to the blessing. We are grateful to have some of our family close by and are thankful for their love and support.
Four Generations

When looking at the picture below I was thinking that it is not quite fair that tall people must always stand in the back (like Andrew). Of course it does make perfect sense because otherwise you would never see the shorter people still it is just not fair .... but then I came across this picture and it all made perfect sense. Love ya bro!

LET'S EAT!

After any early church with very little -practically no time to eat breakfast, it was more than time to eat. We had a nice lunch out in front of our home. It was a warm day but it did not feel too bad in the shade, however once you came in the house you began to realize just how warm it really was outside.

Not hard to see how this picture ended in the results of the other pictures below.

I think they may have got a little more on there face then in their mouths :)

After fun in the sun...the kids played 500 and dodgeball, carson walking the dog around so excited -although occasionally the dog walked him -telling everyone "look I walk dog"...it was time to come in. And what better to do then lounge around with family in loving conversation for hours -forget that... we all played the wii. Don't worry there was loving conversations for hours it just happened while we all played nintendo.

Yes, even grandpa's played the wii. "Wii" had many bowling competitions -it was quite hilarious to watch them play. The video will be attached most likely by tomorrow because it was just funny.

After our family began traveling home we watched Aladdin with our neighbors while eating leftovers and decided that cake should not be considered a dessert -it should be classified as breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We then spent the rest of the evening outside with many of our neighbors and my family playing games and talking. All in all it was a great day and thanks to all of our family and friends that traveled and came to the blessing we appreciate your support. Unfortunately we know that not everyone could make it but know that you were missed.
