This morning I could hear Ian rustling around at 5 am so I went in to check on him and this is all I could see...I am pretty sure that my heart completely stopped. There was no baby in the crib...Given that I was home by myself I was wondering who came in and stole my child without me or the dog hearing anything -yes I know it is a little rational but that was my first thought. Once my breathe came back I looked into the room further wondering were this child could have possibly gone and then could see this...
Tucked up into the corner of the bed just enough so that I could not see him by just peeking in the door. I have decided that sometime during the night he must just get up and walk to where he would like to sleep because he was a whole 2 feet away from where I laid him down for the night. Needless to say I was still unable to get back to sleep.

This just made me laugh because if and when I have a child, I know I will be the same way. It is really funny how much he moves in the night! Oh and I liked the "blow-out" pictures!
he is such a little mover!! Lilly never moves, but I also have her swaddled so tight she probably couldn't if she tried!!
oh, i HATE that momentary panic when something seems wrong. I can't believe how much he roams his crib. Good thing you have bumpers in there to keep him in the crib!
i can't believe how wiggley ian is! i can't tell you how many times i have been laying in bed thinking gee, it's really quiet did some one steal connor?!?! connor never did anything like that though! he would wake up in the same postion we put him to bed up until he was 7 months. then at 7 months he wisened up to the whole tummy thing and has been that way ever since.
Wow he sure moves a lot!
So I was wondering since school is starting soon, are you going back? And what high school do you teach at? I start my student teaching on Sept 2 at Sky View! Wow, I think I'm in over my head!
Eleanore roams like that in her crib too. It is crazy, especially because in the day she just cries until I move her.
This funny post reminds me of something funny that happened here the other day. Eleanore woke up from her nap, so I got her out of her crib and was carrying her on my hip. Well about five minutes later I thought, "Eleanore's been asleep for a long time...I better go check on her." So I went to her room to check on her and totally freaked when she wasn't in her bed -- I mean my heart totally sunk. This only lasted about five seconds, until I remembered she was on my hip. Do you think I carry her around too much? I guess so, she is like a permanant appendage that I don't even notice at moments anymore.
