Last week we went on a family vacation to Las Vegas. So what is there to do in Vegas when you are a Mormon? Watch the Olympics!!! That is right we went on vacation and spent a lot of time watch the Olympics on TV, which yes we could do this from the comfort of our own home but what would be the fun it that :) Don't worry though that is not all we did even with a 2 1/2 month old baby we were still able to get out and have some fun.
Ian took his first flight and did great! I feed him during take off and by the time he finished eating we were landing. Good thing it was a nice short flight.
I did have to nurse him in the restroom of New York, New York. We waited for the worker to step out for a moment then my mom took the make-up chair and we brought it into the handicap stall. Given that they have a worker that her only job is just to stay in the restroom and maintain everything I believe that it was probably cleaner than my own.
While we were they we were able to visit my cousins and their cute little boy Conner. It was so good to see them, it had been way to long. They we nice enough to let us borrow a lot of there baby stuff so we did not have to pack as much. Ian loved it all so much that when we got home we went and purchased some of the same things. Thanks a bunch it saved us a lot of trouble!
Ian with Grandma watching the Bellagio water show. Notice Cute little Conner was the only one ready for the picture :) Cheese
Walking around the hotels. Ian loved being in the carrier. He would kick his feet most of the time and liked being able to see everything. As soon as we arrived back in Logan life began. Tim starting working graves and watching the baby and I am back in school full time. Yes it is an adjustment I am not sure I really like it yet, but I think Ian loves spending time with his daddy!

p.s. hope the school year goes well. i'm sure it was hard to go back.
Well I am glad that you were able to get out before crazy life starts with school and everything. I hope that you guys can adjust and all goes well. Ian is so grown up, I love the winter hat!
I am so glad you had fun, we missed you and are glad you are back! I'm glad Ian was good on the flight, that always makes things more pleasant!
What a fun trip! One last vacation before real life starts is always nice. Don't worry, you'll adjust just fine. I worled part-time with Jack and it took me a little bit to get used to the idea, but then it became life for us and everything was great. How fun for Tim to be able to be with Ian, and you don't have anything to worry about with dad being with him. Ian is darling and getting SO big! We miss the townhomes too!
Vegas looks fun. So smart to fly. We always drive and it doesn't start the trip off too pleasantly. Bummer you are back to school. The summer flew too fast. Things get much better. It's still not always fun. But much better than the first couple weeks. Hang in there.
How fun!! I am a little jealous seeing as we haven't really made it out of the valley this summer... sad!!! Ian is so cute ! Hope school is going well!
Looks like fun. I love the nursing story. I've also nursed in bathroom stalls...I still haven't figured out how people do it modestly in public.
Hello, This is Kiera (I work with Tim), I just had to say that your baby is so cute. What a big boy too!
