Unfortunately nothing to exciting happening around here this week. We are all sick -except Ian (knock on wood that he doesn't get sick). It started out with me sick this beginning of the week and now Tim feels like he is coming down with the cold too.
On a brighter side...my grandparents were down in Logan this past weekend. And Tim's brother Jimmer can down to visit for a couple days. Ian is always happy to see a new face -I think he tends to get tired of seeing our faces. All my grandma had to do was look at Ian and he would light up. In addition he loved listening to Jimmer sing him different songs and of course make all those silly baby noises and funny faces.

With Ian rolling over all the time -let just say he does not sleep in as well as he used to. He can still only roll from tummy to back and then is stuck. At least he is happy when he wakes up though -mom just isn't happy when she has to wake up in the middle of the night and roll him back over. I am sure that if I left him for long enough maybe he would eventually figure it out or just fall back asleep on his back. But it is just so much easier for me to quickly get up roll him over and then we all go back to bed versus listening to him fuss for what seems like forever.
He loves playing with toys and is really reaching for things. He has also started to realize which toys he like more than others. This is one of his favorites he can just stares at it for a while then eventually attempt to fit as much of it as he can into his mouth.
Ian has always been a jumper but could never quite figured out how the jumper works. Lets just say when I tried to help him -it scared him and he would not go near it for a week. We are proud to say that he has finally figured it out...and loves to jump.
While there is no story behind this picture I could not resist... look how cute my two boys look. While I am sure the third (the dog) is off destroying tissues somewhere -he has recently discovered that he can just pull the tissues right out of the box (annoying).
As I sit here and try to thing of a title for this blog I have to wonder looking back at previous blogs -what did we ever post about before we had Ian?

kids definitely do change your life and perspective. i love the pic of "your boys". ian is adorable. glad he figured out the jumper.
I've probably got that same cold. It's no fun. I hope you get feeling better, and mostly that Ian doesn't catch it. Cute pictures. It's so fun to watch babies personalities come out. He's gonna keep you guys hoppin.
Grace sleeps better on her belly lately. I would totally just flip him back if it quickly solves the problem. Soon enough he will be able to do it on his own, and then you don't have to go through the nights of making him cry it back to sleep. Hope everyone starts feelings better.
I love the look on his face in the last picture!! Great pics you guys!
