Rice Cereal

Today was your usual Sunday -we went for dinner at my parents house and Ian as always had a blast playing with the family.

The the real adventure began after his two hour nap long nap -and boy was he hungry. We had planned on feeding him the rice cereal first then I would nurse him afterward. However given his unusually long nap -he was extremely hungry.

We went to feed him rice cereal but he was to mad to begin with (since he was hungry) and did not understand that we were giving him food. So I decided to feed him a little before and then again after the cereal and it worked much better.
He didn't really love it -but at the same time he did not hate it. He was more interesting in grabbing the bowl and eating the spoon rather than the cereal on it. But nonetheless he ate the cereal as well. Although there was probably a few spoon fulls worth of the rice cereal on his bib.
All in all -I would say it was somewhat successful :)

I love the new backround and I am so glad the rice worked! Maybe Cavin will start to like it when I do it more often. He is getting so big! We had a fun weekend with you, thanks for the yummy dinner!

I loved the family pics, youve got such a cute family. You look great, never would have guessed you had a baby receintly. Good luck entering into the real food realm...he does look to be a pretty clean eater.

Ya, he looks clean to me. Grady is into squishing everything between his fingers before popping it in. Feeding them gets so much easier once they get the hang of it. I think it's such a pain at first.
