As I mentioned in a previous post we headed to the beach Thursday afternoon. We literally have a "beach" no more than 2 minutes from our home. See for yourself in the picture below...
Ian has absolutely loved it, we have been quite a few times. On Thursday we picked up his cousin Carson and headed to the beach. They both had fun playing and building sand castles. Splashing in the water was also a must. Ian loves his shark squirt gun -it is just the right size. Aaron is not a huge fan. He does not like the sun! Thankfully this past week I found a beach umbrella on clearance at walmart for $9.00 and it works perfect! Aaron doesn't mind going as long as there is some shade and goldfish crackers.

We then headed to Tim's work party for dinner. They were holding a watermelon eating contest as well. As soon as Tim decided to enter I knew it was no longer a contest. Ian even entered the contest. Ian took one bite and smiled as if he had won. Then he noticed everyone was still eating their watermelon so he quickly took another bite and then decided that was enough. Needless to say Tim did win the watermelon eating contest.
Next we headed to the zoo for another members late night. I think Carson was wondering why we take so many pictures. We had fun at the zoo watching the tigers play again. Late nights are definitely the best time to go.
On the way home from the zoo we were stuck in a little bit of traffic. Ian and Carson enjoyed watching some of Despicable Me in the car. They were both completely zone out and quite tired from our long day of fun!
Ian and Tim both fell asleep while singing songs in bed. Notice they are both in their everyday outfits. Oh well at least they both slept all night long!
