Christmas Finale

The boys woke up nice and early ready to open their stockings Christmas morning. We started the oven for breakfast (juicy rolls) so it would be ready by the time we finished going through our stockings. After breakfast the boys had to wait on the stairs until we were all ready. They were not to happy to be waiting. I remember my parents making us wait upstairs as kids and anticipating the moment you got to walk down to the tree and see all of the presents.

Santa did not miss them! This is also the only picture that I have of the tree the boys decorated all by themselves! So pretty and unique!

Ian was tearing into presents faster than you could blink.
Aaron decided he would rather play than open anything.

I am not sure that Ian moved from this spot the rest of the day.

We finished the evening off with a delicious dinner: ham, potatoes, corn, rolls, etc. The rest of the day the boys played with some of their new toys and started moving them to their rooms. While the rest of us relaxed on the couch watching Christmas movies.

The rest of the week poor Tim had to work pretty much every day. So we took advantage of our evenings when possible. One night we headed to Ian's favorite restaurant Tucanos. I love that both of the servers are smiling picture perfect.
Aaron is also a fan... but mostly of dessert!

Jimmer and Amy were able to spend a few more days with us as well. Papa came down with a horrible cold. So while Papa, Me, Ian and Aaron all headed to bed early one evening. The rest of them headed to Pho Plus and may have had a little too much fun :)

While they were here we got a lot of great snow! The boys absolutely love sledding! We live on the mountain side and therefore are surrounded by great hills for sledding. Is works out great that the boys (and Tim) can just go right outside our front door and find mild hills to extreme hills. While I sit inside and take pictures of them from the window. Clearly they love sledding...and the snow!

While Ian and daddy continued to enjoy playing in the snow Aaron came inside to lay down with mommy! Which is the absolutely best!

It was great being able to visit and spend time with family. It is truly what makes the holiday's so wonderful!
