On Friday afternoon Ian had he Christmas in the Village at his preschool! Tim was unable to go due to work but I was able to take the boys and thankfully it was not too crazy. We came right as they were about to sing so Ian ran up to join.
We then ate a delicious meal, talked with santa, and put together reindeer food for Christmas Eve.
Late that night we headed up to Logan for a couple Christmas parties/get togethers with my side of the family. First stop was with the Fosters. It has been a long time since we have all been together. In fact we can't actually remember the last time we all got together at grandma and grandpa Fosters house. It was great to see everyone and catch up. The kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. Grandma and Grandpa even surprise the kids with early Christmas presents. Grandma has always had a special gift for being able to find the perfect gift for each grandchild, mostly great grandchildren now. As you can see Ian and Aaron were ecstatic! Ian refuse to set down Spiderman and Aaron continued to fly Super Grover throughout the house.
We then returned to my parents house and the boys opened a special gift from Grandma and Grandpa Diamond. Spiderman beds and sleeping bags for their house. As you can see the boys loved them! Are you sensing a theme this year....superheroes :)
The next morning we made a gingerbread house and train.
The boys had a lot of fun decorating and eating the frosting and candy. Aaron really wanted to get the snickers bar cut open but it just wasn't working.
The final product!
We waited for Andrew to make it home from church and then enjoyed Christmas with my family.
Ian playing with his MagFormers.
Daddy loved his new set of weights and peppermint bark.
Maybe a little too much :)
I was completely surprised to get a new purse and wallet that I thought was on back-order. Sneaky sneaky mother.
Aaron decided enough was enough he was hungry and willing to take matters into his own hands.
Don't worry we ate dinner shortly after -in which he decided it would be better if grandma just fed him. Apparently grandma did not feed him fast enough.
After dinner Hunter took the boys outside to play in the snow and build a snowman.

While the younger boys were outside apparently the older boys decided it was playtime. See MagFormers really are for all ages.
Unfortunately Andrews creation was quickly "redirect" with the help of his nephews.
Then Aaron discover the best game of all. Jumping off of the couch onto a bunch of pillows. In later posts you will see what this has actually started in our home. He is so cute though!
We had a wonderful Christmas with the family! The kids were sad to leave, but I am not sure who they were more sad to leave, family or their snowman :) For the sake of those reading this blog we are going to assume it was definitely family! We had a wonderful time, love you all and are so grateful for all you do for us. Merry Christmas!
