The month of November and December was a little rough for our family. Colds, Colds, Colds. The boys would bounce right back but the air outside was horrible so it is best to keep them indoors. Plus mommy was down for the count with multiple hernias, intense nausea. and all kinds of "fun" stuff. So since daddy was busy at work and mommy was stuck on the couch the boys enjoyed Christmas all month long! I had been collecting things for the boys since January. Needless to say their was plenty to keep them occupied! One of their favorites being their car blutrack.
Don't worry they still had their moments. Aaron is starting to really master the pout.
Ian worked hard signing letters for gifts to be mailed to family. He sounded all of our names our and spelled them, pretty impressive.
Papa, Nana, Jimmer and Amy arrived a few days before Christmas.
It did not take long for the boys to show them how things go around here. Superhero's attach!

The next day most of the family headed to Brighton for fun skiing.
Aaron tried to get them to take him but unfortunately they would be gone for too long.
That night we had a mini Christmas with Jimmer and Amy before they headed to her celebrate with her family. The boys love the tent that Amy made for them! We also gave them the presents the we got them for Christmas and wouldn't you know out of everything they received this holiday both of them love their 30 cent avenger and spiderman notebooks! In fact I am not sure why I got them anything else...silly boys.
On Christmas Eve we woke up to a complete white out! We had planned to head to Heber Valley to ride the Polar Express. Thankfully we decided to brave the roads anyway.
Aaron was not so sure about the train and decided to get a little reading done before we began our journey to the North Pole ;)
The polar express was great! The kids had a blast and loved riding on the train to the North Pole and seeing Santa. Santa even hopped on the train and gave each of the children a bell. The boys loved singing and dancing on the ride and just looking out the window.
Although it was quite exhausting for this one.
When we got home the boys ran inside put on their snow clothes and headed outside to play in the snow.
Christmas Eve was beginning to come to an end and we hadn't even made cookies for Santa. So we had a little too much fun decorating cookies, while Aaron ate the frosting.
Then we opened our pajamas, read the Night Before Christmas, and about the Birth of Jesus in the scriptures. The boys were exhausted but the thought that tomorrow was Christmas kept them going strong. They quickly put out food for the reindeer, poured some milk for Santa and made sure the Christmas lights were on. Then it was off to brush there frosted teeth and head to bed!
