Car ride home from the hospital.
Who can forget the dog. This is pike seat while I am feeding Ian. When people come over Pike believes that they are coming over to see him. If they don't give him the attention that he needs then he rubs and rubs up against you basically forcing you to pay attention to him. The dog has done really well with Ian. When I was in the hospital Tim brought home a shirt that Ian had worn and had the dog smell it and what not. I don't know if it helped but the dog seems to like him and Ian loves to watch the dog. I have to be honest I though the dog would be quite a task and some days he struggles just like Ian but he is adjusting well.
Got to love the tongue!
This is my favorite picture- even if it is a little blurry. He was smiling tons all that day -yeah whatever maybe it was gas but I care to differ.
Tim has been very busy this week with school he has three big exams -Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology. On top of that he has been working a couple graveyard shifts at the hospital. I do not know how he does it.
As most of you know my dad made Ian's crib. I am sorry to say that he will not be sleeping there for a little while. I planned on putting him in his crib right away but it did not work out the best. Now Ian sleeps a whole 6-8 inches away from my side of the bed we had him sleeping a little more upright because we thought he might have colic but he seems to be doing great! Unfortunately the beautiful crib will have to wait. Maybe he can sleep in it when he turns 3 -I am sure it will still hold him then :)

i love ians darling little smiles. i am glad he is sleeping good! the first few weeks can be rough, i am glad your mom is so close to help, what a blessing! sleep when the baby sleeps. i love the pics!
I love the pictures, and update. That's so nice your mom was able to be there through so much of everything. He's so sweet. Thanks for the labor story, you've officially reminded me that I don't want to be doing that in 3 months. I agree with the IV, not the worst part for me, but I hated it, and just wanted it out, but had it in for so long. Anyways, more pictures please:-)
he's so beautiful!! love the smile picture and he seems so bright-eyed and alert!!! thanks for keeping the pics coming and glad your mom was such a big help.

He is adorable Ashley! I am glad that mom and baby are doing so well. Thanks for all of the fun picture updates. We love peaking at the new pictures. It seems like little ones change so quickly those first few days/weeks!
Congrats! You're little guy is so cute! It looks like you guys are having a great time together. It is so nice your mom has been around to help, what a blessing! By the way, I loved hearing your labor story. I love those stories for some reason. I guess because it is such a true miracle.
