Easter

Just to show what a boy he is. He did not care about the flowers he just wanted to play with the sprinkler head and the bark. All ready for church -he can even say Jesus.

After church we headed to my parents house. This is an Easter tradition we always do. Each person represents a color of string. Then another person takes your string and creates a maze throughout the house and even outside. Then in order to get to your Easter gift you have to follow the string and you wind it back into a ball as you go. This is where it begins. If you click on the picture you can really tell.
After a little while and depending on who had your string you start looking like this.
Tim did Andrew's string and Andrew did Tim's. Good thing too they were both mean. As you can see Andrew trying to get his gift.
But all in all everyone is a happy camper even Pike is excited to go.Ian got some cute clothes and books.
With today being such a warm day he is wearing on of the outfits now.Hunter created an Easter Egg Hunt just for Ian...he loved gathering all of he eggs.
Especially if they were sparkly.
We had a wonderful Spring Break/Easter weekend and are all looking forward to Summer!

I really love that idea to find the easter baskets so much! We might have to start that tradition. Poor Tim and Andrew:-)

I love the string tradition. Thanks for sharing all of your pics from easter and your trip. You guys had quite the amount of luggage! But when your traveling with kids it is much better to be prepared for anything.

Ian sure is loved by all your family. He looks so cute in his church outfit. And I agree, the string idea sounds so fun. What a great idea.
