Spring Break Day 4!

What were we thinking??? I have no pictures to post because I forgot the camera cord but I will post pictures later. Tim is now on Spring Break he has Thursday-Monday off! We decided to head to Salt Lake get a hotel and stay a couple of days. Mostly we need to go to IKEA and pick up a dresser for our bedroom, Ian needs new pants, and I need...well a whole new wardrobe but that is not going to happen. Needless to say we are currently sitting in the hotel and Ian is having a hard time falling asleep we have 2 noise machines going and even turned on the shower in hopes that others do not hear his on and off crying. Tim and I are both wondering what we were thinking...and why did we want to leave the comfort of our own home. If you saw us walking into the hotel you'd think we were staying for weeks we had so much stuff, or at least that we that we were from Florida or something. Although I am much to white to be from Florida -maybe Alaska. But no we are just staying for two nights and live 2 hours away. Just now he has fallen asleep -Hurray. But he has been such a good trooper all day and is as happy as could be that a little bit of crying tonight is OK by me but probably not all the other guests. Oh well they can deal with it!

Oh man, traveling is so hard! I definitely hear ya, but in the long run it's good to try it once and awhile, so our kids don't totally become homebodies. Hope your next couple days go well. Can't wait to hear all about it!

I hope he stays asleep so you don't have to worry about waking up the other guests. It is hard enough listening to your own child cry let alone stress about other people having to listen to it. Ian will just have to flash them his smile in the morning and all will be forgiven right. Hope you have a good stay in SLC.

Wow!! You are crazy! I hate being anywhere except our own home. Livie won't sleep anywhere but her own crib. It is so nice almost every night. The only time is is a problem is when we go somewhere! Don't worry about the other guests, most people know what it is like to have a baby. Hope your mini vacation is a blast!
