Family Pictures

We were lucky enough to have Lindsay take our family pictures again this year. I am not sure she would consider herself luckily given my two grumpy boys -but we knew with her talent she would still be able to get some amazing pictures. I will admit I did have my doubts because Ian did not want anything to do with getting his pictures taken (unless you were trying to take pictures of Aaron alone then he was all for getting in the way and pulling faces). Aaron was having non of it. You can tell by looking at our blog that Aaron is a super happy baby. He is always smiling from ear to ear. We could not get him to even crack one smile. It did not help that is was over a hundred degrees outside that evening but he was still unusually grumpy. Wouldn't you know the next morning Aaron woke up with a brand new tooth. By some miracle Lindsay was still able to capture a few good shots!

This one is my absolute favorite! Ian is hugging all of us which clearly Aaron is a little concerned. I love the shot a perfect representation of our family :)

Ian trying to decide what devious thing he will do next
Wild boy!
Can't you just see him plotting his plan
The boys together

Had to post a couple of these ones because they made me laugh
Ian is done with pictures while Aaron is wondering what stunt he is going to do next
That's a wrap! Can you tell I am literally holding him down.
Tim's parents were visiting at the time so we thought it would be great to get some picture with them and the boys as well.
There are a few other group shots of all of us but these are my favorite!
I can't believe how fast our family is changing. It seems like the boys are growing up overnight. Aaron will be a year old in a few weeks, and Ian is three and thinks that he is five. I can still remember back to when we were "dink's" -double income no kids. There were no sleepless nights. Not to mention we could go and do whatever we wanted at any given moment. Now we count our blessings for each night that we do not hear a child wake up hollering for one of us. We can go anywhere but only between 10-12:30 and 3:30 -5:30 -but be sure all of the essentials are packed like snacks, toys, diapers, clothes, and a few more toys, and better throw in a few more snacks and drinks. However, neither of us would trade it for the world! We absolutely love our boys they have brought so much joy, excitement, and laughter to our lives. I look forward to watching them learn and grow each new day!
