It is freezing cold here in Utah Valley. Although we do know that is much colder back home in Logan, we are still cold. We were getting a little jealous of the snow Logan was getting but look....
We finally got some snow (Picture taken November 5th)! I know kind of pathetic right?!? Nonetheless we were all excited and still eager for more! Ian had to go outside immediately to play. He even skipped breakfast that morning. Aaron wanted to go outside but I was not feeling up to it. Did I mention we had not even had breakfast? That means it was early, and I am not an early morning person. As for Pike he was begging to get back inside.
The snow melted later that day (yes I am still counting the whole 1/4 of an inch as snow) but it is too cold to go outside. We have found many "unique" ways to entertain ourselves inside and try and get some energy out.
One of Aaron's favorite activities. He especially likes it when he rocks just far enough that he almost tips over.
Ian has been building many creative house. In this house he was trapping Easton inside. Easton is our neighbor and they have not exactly been getting along very well.
Aaron loves climbing into, under, through, and between everything. He thinks he closet is a play cave. If I am not sure quite where he has run of to (yes run he is cruising around pretty fast these days) he can usually be found here. As long as my bathroom door is closed so he can't play in my make-up, and his bathroom door is closed so he can't play in the toilet. Yes both of these things have happen a couple times.

I was trying to find the camera to take the picture below, but couldn't. I finally gave up and grabbed my phone. It must have taken me a little longer than I thought because he ended up breaking the drawer. Luckily I was able to fix it by bending the metal sliding bars back. While doing so I ended up snapping the roller wheel. It still works remarkable well with a semicircle wheel!
Our new favorite activity is paper snowball fights! The best part is ripping up all the paper. I have been getting tons of decor magazines in the mail. Instead of letting them go to waste I have let the boys enjoy ripping them up. Then we wad it up and throw it at each other. Very fun activity if you are bored. After we get out the recycling box and "save the paper for later" as Ian would say.

I am not sure what has happen?!!! Maybe Ian thinks since Aaron is walking he can now play. Aaron always wanted to play before, Ian just did not want him to. The last three weeks they have been getting along so well! They make each other laugh, enjoy playing together, love running around, or chasing the dog. Ian always shares his food with him and makes sure to break it into smaller pieces if it is too big. Pike always hopes to catch a few bites as well.

I also have video (but it will not upload) of Ian and Aaron dressed up and jamming to The X Factor. Ian is singing along like he know all the words (he doesn't know the song at all) and Aaron is bouncing to the music. We have also been enjoying our glow in the dark parties. Turn up the music and cover yourself in glow sticks. We are eager to get outside and play but have been having a blast inside as well.
