The day had finally arrived! It was officially Ian's birthday on May 29th!
Weight: 38 lbs 50th percentile
Height: 41 inches 70th percentile
We woke him up that morning at 8:30 am and he was beyond excited! When he saw presents sitting on the table he could hardly contain himself. Avengers hat, two t-shrits, and flip flops!
He was loving life!
Dad even brought home a birthday surprise after work. I love these giant doughnuts they are bigger than his head. He can just about finish a whole doughnut for breakfast -gross.
Aaron of course had to join in on the fun -but at mommies request with a plain doughnut.
Say cheese :)
We were going to head to Seven peaks that morning but unfortunately our schedules were not coordinating well. So we headed to the splash park instead!
The boys loved playing in the water and laying out in the sun!
After we all enjoyed some much needed quiet and nap time then daddy was off to work again. At Ian's requests we enjoyed homemade chicken tacos for dinner and then rushed out to his soccer game. He did great. He is finally starting to kick the ball versus just running around with the rest of the kids. I love that he will give one big kick then instead of following the ball to kick it again, he looks at me and gives me a big thumbs up! By the time he has finished his cheesy grin with a big thumbs up the ball is long gone :)
After soccer that night we came home to a wonderful message from his best friend Ellie! After listening to it a million times I decided I should recorded his reaction. He misses Ellie bellie sooo much!
We all had a wonderful day! I still cannot believe that he is four years old. While he is a super active energetic boy we absolutely love him to pieces and could not imagine life without him! Actually we could, it would be quiet and we would be sitting around the house all day peacefully relaxing -ahhhhh :) But what would be fun about that?
Happy Birthday Ian! We love you!!!
