Our soccer season has come to an end :( It was hilarious while it lasted. I really wanted to take some video of Ian playing soccer on the last day but it was freezing cold! That is right freezing! It was June 5th and it was in the high 40's. The kids were all playing in their winter coats and were wrapped in blankets when they were not playing. Ian has improved quite a bit from the beginning of the season. He is finally kicking the ball instead of just running around with the other kids. The best part is he will give the ball a hard kick and then turn and give me a big smile and thumbs up! Meanwhile the ball is long gone -I love it!
His soccer team! All of them were great kids plus the coach is our home teacher! Even better is that he has decided soccer is fun! Although it may be due to the fact that Ian and Drew (the boy to the left -coach's son) tend to wrestle and goof off when playing together. They are not allowed to be on the field together anymore :)
The last game they even won a metal! Ian and Aaron were quite excited about it!
Yes we were all wearing shorts at the last freezing cold game. Bonus points for mom :)
