I can't believe that Ava is now six months old! I look back on my records and at the blog often to check that she really was born back in June :( It is true, and she is growing up so much! As you can tell in the picture above the poor thing has another eye infection. She has a clogged tear duck that will not open. The boys both had it as well but theirs opened by about 4 months. So thankfully we have plenty of antibiotic drops which helps clear it up. Then about 3 weeks later it comes back :( Apparently if it doesn't open up within a year they have to do surgery -yikes! We are hoping and praying that will not be the case.
The boys still adore her -she just has to hear their voice and she instantly lights up!
She loves playing with her tongue. I have been sure that she is getting a tooth for months now -nope! I am not complaining but the amount of drool she produces is incredible.
She is an excellent sleeper and quite the mover. I am not sure how she is asleep on her back since she never sleeps on her back.
Yes, the moment she wakes up she really is this happy!
She loves reading books. She always sits in my lap at night when the boys and I are reading books. She loves looking at the pictures and laughing at the boys.
And yes, she is absolutely gorgeous inside and out!
She loves to be in her jumper and reminds us a lot of Ian at this age. Bouncing like crazy.
Some other milestones...smiles and laughs at practically nothing, can roll all over the place, pushes up on her knees and rocks, while she is probably not aware of it I am sure that she has said "Ma ma" more than once.

She also says "Da da" and loves her daddy!

The moment she hears Daddy's voice she starts wiggling and smiling. She has also started to prefer that he puts her to bed at night -which does not always work well since daddy works graveyard shifts. She is sitting up on her own -even if she falls it is quite smooth and graceful (maybe she'll be a ballerina). She loves toys the more the better. The boys are always bringing her new toys. She is such a great baby! She thinks that raspberries are hilarious- and loves to mimic people.
She can sit on her own and play on the floor for hours. She know longer likes me to hold and rock her to sleep :( She starts getting fussy and wants me to just lay her down in her crib. Which has its benefits but I do love holding her and cuddling! Sometimes I make her cuddle anyway :)

I can't believe that she is 6 months old! Wow time sure does fly! Trisha's little girl had to have the tear duct surgery when she was little. Surgery is never a fun option. Hopefully it will open up on its own.
