Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! It is low stress, involves tons of food, and time with family. For Thanksgiving this year we headed to my Aunt and Uncle Diamond's house. The food was absolutely amazing! Turkey, pie, orange rolls, stuffing...everything! We even let Ava try some potatoes -Brittany is allergic to dairy so lucky Ava was able to try some of her potatoes. She made a little face at first but actually ate them. I know I am a little bias but she also looked so cute in her turkey shirt.

Earlier that morning Andrew decided to go and break his collarbone while playing flag football. That is a whole other story which is not mine to tell -so if you would like more information you can discuss it with him. For as much pain as he was probably in you would never know -unfortunately later that evening we ended up having to cut his Utah State Aggie shirt so that he could actually change. The boys were so sad -Aaron just kept informing everyone that "Ajroo" broke his arm and that you could not touch him.

In usual fashion we partied anyway! Yes, that is Ava asleep on the floor right next to me while everyone talks and laughs. Noise as you can tell does not bother her -we thank her brothers for that.

Ava loved talking with Grandma Diamond and was a little gabber and cuddle bug all night. Ava loved all the new and exciting faces.

That evening the kids and I headed to Logan to stay with my family for the rest of the weekend since Tim was working the rest of the weekend. The kids had a blast as usually and Ava loved being held.

Ian just relaxing before he puts together all of the puzzles that Aaron dumped out.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving and weekend! The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins, and we all had fun catching up. I think we should have thanksgiving once every month :) I might add that my family is always too nice and gives me the crazy easy food assignments like corn since it is usually just me and the kids. I am sure if I had to prepare more of the meal I might change my mind. Now that I think about it I am not sure if that is a necessarily a good thing -what are they trying to say? I can cook -just don't ask Aaron he hates everything lately. Either way Thanksgiving once a month would be awesome!
