It has still been snowing around here and you will not here any complaints from us! So we strapped on Aaron boots and skis and decided to get in a little practice run before we headed up to Sundance the next day.
Ian had fun playing with a friend in the snow while Aaron had fun with Daddy. He also loved skiing but preferred to be carried if not sliding down the hill.
The next day we all headed up to Sundance and the boys got their passes. Such handsome boys!
Ian and Aaron were so excited to be going. However Aaron did not realize that mommy would not be coming this time. Tim informed me that he cried the entire lift up and the whole way down the mountain for mommy. If you ask Aaron he will tell you all about it. So Aaron came in the lodge with me and we had a chocolate milk and giant cookie will Daddy and Ian hit the slopes. Ian did awesome for his first time skiing this season. Before you watch make sure your sound is turned off or down -the wind is loud on the phone camera (we forgot the gopro).
Wouldn't you know that after a few bites Aaron was ready to ski again. Needless to say the second time went much much better. He did great he was skiing out in front of Tim on his own and loved every minute.
After a few runs it was time to head home. Aaron was exhausted from skiing and not getting in his usually afternoon nap. We had not even left the parking lot and he was fast asleep. Can't wait for the day was can all ski together as a family. Just one problem -my boys are better than me :) Looks like I'll be taking lessons along side of Ava in a couple years.
