Christmas Parties!

It has been an exciting day at our house. This little boy got some new ski boots and is extremely excited to be going skiing with Ian and Daddy. I have to mention that I got his ski boots for $10 dollars! Yes, you did read it right. They have been used maybe twice -still have the tag on them and fit perfectly! I am not sure who is more excited Aaron to go skiing or me at the price I got them.

We also had our ward Christmas party tonight! We discovered that Ava loves wrapping paper and did not hesitate to grab, rip, and eat the wrapping paper tablecloth. She was rocking the Christmas look and I am absolutely in love with her darling glitter shoes! I think she should sleep in them they are so girly and cute -thanks Thompsons :)

At the party each table had a gingerbread house to decorate -they were delivering them to local nursing homes for the holidays. The boys gingerbread home was amazing and caught quite a few eyes! Daddy put on the frosting and the boys did the rest -they used every piece of candy (minus the few that made it to their belly). I was surprised how well they all worked together -next to Ian is his friend Mathias. Such a fun night! I love the holidays!

The next week was Aaron's Preschool party at Kids Village. I wish I could have got a good video of him singing but the children in front kept blocking the view. Either way he sang every song and was excellent at ringing the jiggle bells.

Aaron's class made a cookbook for the parents. I still have Ian's with the Christmas books we love pulling it out and reading through them. This was Aaron's favorite things to make and eat.

They also got to meet and talk to Santa! Ian asked Santa for glitter pens! That boys loves arts and crafts. When Santa asked Aaron what he wanted for Christmas Aaron had noticed the basket of candy canes and said that he wanted a "candy cane." Santa said "Of course, but is there something you would like for Christmas?" Aaron still responded, "I want a candy cane!" So Santa gave him a candy cane and said that was the easiest Christmas present yet!
