Our house has been abnormally quiet with no dog. Don't get me wrong the boys are loud but whenever someone visits we never know. We realize that we never really heard our doorbell we just wait for Pike to bark -he was a built in doorbell. Aaron usually yells for Pike to come and eat whatever he dropped on the floor and Ian has to remind him that Pike is in heaven. So we have done our best to keep busy and stay out of the house.
While Thanksgiving is not until next week we decided we need a little extra joy so we pulled out all of the Christmas decorations! This happened in the first thirty seconds. Sure it was a complete accident but still! Aaron ripped into the ornament contain when my hands were full and dropped our wedding ornament onto another glass ornament. We later discovered this was not the only ornament lost -about four other broke with :( Then I was showing the kids the snow globes and Ian decided to pick them both up and shake. The immediately collided with each other and this snow globe lost. Water, glitter, snowfall all over the family room carpet and couch.
I then put all the christmas decoration back into storage and just pulled out the felt Christmas tree for the boys. The can't break felt!
We also wrote our letters to Santa! Ian: Ian, I have been good. I want a golden ninja guy and golden ninja toy. For santa. Aaron is still obsessed with Ninja Turtles as you can see he had one out when writing it. He also felt the need to be specific -full ninja turtle costume :)
We also started Ava on oatmeal. I wasn't planning on starting her until after 6 months but she seems so interested in food that I figured might as well. Sure enough she absolutely loved it! She kept trying to feed herself as well.
We have been to Logan to visit Family, and had friends over to play. Somehow we still manage to get bored so we walk in circles and practice our counting. Clearly he was very bored that day he usually makes it to one hundred and calls it good. I think he was just about to three hundred by the time he decided to stop and do something else.

Ava's smiles and giggles always light up the room.
We are getting very excited to see Family and enjoy Thanksgiving all together! Daddy doesn't have to work! Hurray!
